Phrasal verb: Take back

Significado: ‘ you take somebody back’ quiere decir que retomas una relación sentimental que habias decado anteriormente a cause de algun problema en ella.

Gramática: Este phrasal verb necesita un objeto. SI el objeto es un pronombre, siempre va en medio. Si es un nomnte, puedes usarlo en medio o detrás del participio.

She took her husband back - CORRECTO

She took him back - CORRECTO

She took back her husband - CORRECTO

She took back him - MAL

Ejemplo: Mary had accepted that her husband was occasionally unfaithful, but when he became violent, she threw him out and refused to take him back.
