Canciones para empezar bien la semana: ‘Victory Dance’, de My Morning Jacket

De un timpo a esta parte, My Morning Jacket se han ganado a pulso la tan manida etiqueta de banda de culto. Lo han hecho gracias a una carrera notable, en ocasiones irregular y por momentos sublime. Saben cómo facturar hits de rock de estadio y, al mismo tiempo, llevar su propuesta a su vertiente más inquieta y experimental. A menudo son asequibles, otras veces extraños, pero siempre singulares. Una banda que ha cautivado a todos aquellos que han tenido la fortuna de verles en directo y que este 2011 ha dado el paso definitivo hacia el éxito masivo con un disco de escucha obligada, Circuital. Y es que desde las primeras notas de Victory Dance, el corte que abre el disco, ya se intuye que este es un álbum grande, intenso, épico. Disfrútenla, tanto si hoy les toca bailar el baile de la victoria como si los suyos se han pegado el batacazo padre.
